Welcome!

Welcome to the State Route 520 Montlake Project online open house.

We are working to improve safety and mobility in the SR 520 corridor by rebuilding the eastbound lanes between Montlake and the floating bridge, constructing a new Montlake lid and interchange, and building a bicycle/pedestrian “land bridge” over SR 520. Washington State Stay Home, Stay Healthy order construction updates

In keeping with Gov. Inslee’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy order, WSDOT suspended work on the SR 520 Montlake Project. With progress made to slow the spread of the coronavirus in Washington, the governor on April 24 authorized the restart of “low-risk” construction projects. The Montlake Project’s committed to returning to the worksite in a way that prioritizes the health and safety of our workers and the traveling public. We’ll keep you updated through our project website and email updates as crews safely resume operations.
